People are upset at a high school pitcher for pitching a whopping 194 times in a single game Tuesday. Dylan Fosnacht of Rochester High School pitched 14 innings in his district district tournament, helping lead his school to victory.

So why are people outraged? Immediately on hearing the large amount of pitches, people became concerned about Fosnacht’s health. The norm for MLB is to take a pitcher out after 100 pitches to prevent long term injuries, like elbow ligament tears, requiring extensive surgery.

Tampa Bay Rays pitcher David Price showed concern to the teen, even calling for his coach to be fired.
